Bus Services

There are many bus services within the Yorkshire Dales which run throughout the year, providing links between the main towns and villages and the surrounding area.

These are supplemented by extra services during the summer period, which mainly operate on Sundays and Bank Holidays.

All Year Round Bus Services

The main Dales services are outlined below:

Extra Summer Dales Bus Services

During the summer extra services operate at weekends to and within the Dales, most of these routes operate from Easter through until the end of September. Services include:

• Ilkley to Grassington and Upper Wharfedale, with connections to Hawes
• Bolton Abbey Heritage Bus
• Ribblehead to Hawes, Aysgarth and Buckden 
• Settle to Clapham, Ingleton and Ribblehead
• Ilkley and Skipton to Settle and Malham
• Bradford to Skipton and Malham
• Malham Tarn Shuttle from Malham to Malham Tarn and Settle
• Leeds and Otley to Pateley Bridge, Fountains Abbey, Leyburn and Richmond
• Pateley Bridge to How Stean Gorge
• Pateley Bridge to Brimham Rocks 
• Wensleydale Vintage Tour Bus (Ripon - Redmire - Hawes - Garsdale) 
• Kirkby Stephen to Hawes and Ribblehead (Tuesdays)
